We had a great weekend at the Luc McGregor Memorial Derby in Nampa, ID. Cashnbig Muddy Chex (owned by Dennis and Vicki Turin) and I ended up Co-Champion in the Open on Sunday with a 148. Dun It Shining, owned by Christin Brubaker, ended up Reserve in the Open Circuit with two strong showings marking a 147 on Sunday and 73 1/2 on Friday. Moonshine Banjo was Reserve in the L4 Open 4 year old derby, Saturday night, marking a 146.

Amber had a great weekend on Moonshine, winning the 4 year old and the Level 1 Non Pro derby. They were also Reserve in Level 4 and Level 2. Overall, they won two bronzes, a buckle, a beautiful trophy headstall, and a little over $2,800! After two great derby runs for both Amber and I, Moonshine turned around and loped a nice quiet run for Gunnar in the short stirrup on Sunday!

Elisha Irwin and her mare, Georgia, won the Green Reiner on Sunday! This was Elisha’s second NRHA show ever! Great things to come for this duo!

Brooke Howell and her mare, Texas, had some of their best runs to date! The duo turned hard and stopped big and we know these two have some big wins in their future!

The highlight of our weekend was Mason and Big League Yankee winning the saddle award in the Rookie 2. Words can’t express how proud I am of the talented rider that Mason has become! Mason also won the 13 & under circuit.

Thank you to all of our clients, family and friends that came to show to support us. We appreciate your encouragement and support! ‪#‎EquusNutritionSystem‬, ‪#‎LuckyAcresFencingInc‬

Psalm 28:7 – The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
