Low Roller Reining Classic
Its 1 am. I’m tired, dirty and hungry from a long day of horseshowing and I’m already thinking about the busy day that we have in store tomorrow. That’s horseshowing; Nothing unusual or unexpected there, but as I lay here and reflect over the day’s events, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of happiness and gratitude. Matt had a great day with his horses. Nitro, owned by Dennis and Vicki Turin, had a solid 145 run, securing them a spot in the North American affiliate finals in the Novice Horse Level 2. Dennis and Vicki, I sincerely hope you know how much your friendship and continued support means to us and we are eternally grateful for the encouragement and fellowship that you freely share with us!
Matt was also fortunate enough to be Co-Champion in the L2 and Reserve in the L4 Derby on KR Gunpowder. They had a beautiful run and I am so proud of them; love that man and that horse!
Mason was blessed with an awesome ride and ended up as the NW Affiliate Finals Short Stirrup champion and the recipient of the perpetual travelling short stirrup trophy. What an honor!
While these accomplishments are certainly worthy of a FB post, this post was meant to be dedicated to my appreciation for our wonderful friends and family who make it all possible. Happy and blessed describe how you all make us feel! Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, your hollers and whistles from the stands, your text messages and calls of congratulations. And above all thank you to our Lord and Savior for allowing us the opportunity to serve him while doing what we love!
